Evaluate teh following limits. Do not use a calculator. Write infinity and (negaative) infinity when appropriate

 (1) lim as x goes to infinty (e^x + 3) / (489.x^2 + 6)
 (2) lim as x goes to 1 (x^3 - 3x + 2) / (x^2 - 1)
 (3) lim as x goes to 0+ (1 / sin x) - (1 / x)

How does Cauchy's inequality work? by caroline on 2004-04-21 22:48:23
cauchy's inequality is supposed to be:

(xy^3+yz^3+zx^3)(z+x+y) *is greater than or equal to* xyz(y+z+x)^2.

i don't get what it's supposed to be used for, and how it works. it just confuses me. please help!!!
