``Re: (de)numerable'' by perucho on 2006-06-20 23:31:51
In both languages there exists English/Spanish=numerable/numerable, countable/contable, being synonymous words in a vulgar context. But unlike the English, in the mathematical context, in Spanish is more common numerable. However, I have also seen countable/contable in Spanish translations from English books, e.g. P. Halmos, Naive Set Theory/Teoria instuitiva de conjuntos. I think that English denomination is more precise.
