``Re: Reject proof by contradiction?'' by perucho on 2006-06-28 17:16:05
Hi all,
I cannot understand that long discussion about this subject. If I can reject a theory with a counter-example, why do I must reject a proof by cotradiction? Someone can explain me that? I think that people rejecting a proof by contradiction, would have to throw mathematical logic into a basket.

PS. Almost all concerning propositions about the second law of thermodynamics is proven by contradiction. In fact that law is a ``rejecting'' sentence.
