``Solving second order linear ODE'' by curious on 2009-10-31 09:59:31
If I have this ODE: u'' + P(x)u' + Q(x)u = 0

How can we solve this ODE?? I am thinking of using Fourier series to get an infinite series solution, but I need a sort of a guideline in doing that.

Any ideas?
