``Line Segament in R^n'' by vipul kakkar on 2009-11-03 11:49:38
Hi! I want to clarify following :
Let x, y and u,v $\belong$ to R^{n}, let L_1 = {(1-t)x+ty :t $\belong$ [0,1]} be Line segament joining x and y and L_2 = {(1-t)u+tv :t $\belong$ [0,1]} be Line segament joining u and v}.
It is clear that L_1 and L_2 are homeomorphic. I just want to ask "will the map f:L_1 to L_2 given by f((1-t)x+ty))=(1-t)u+tv work as required homeomorphism?"
Thanks.
