| ``Interpretation of $\alpha^\beta$''

| | Since $\beta$ is irrational, is this theorem intended to apply for any complex number $\alpha$, or simply for positive reals? If for any $\alpha$, should it then read "all possible values of $\alpha^\beta$"? |
