It can be thought of a sequence (if seen as function by taking zeros from n+1 and onwards) but that's also the "finite sequence" usage just like you don't say infinite sequence always but rather only say sequence

Context tells the meaning, and sometimes you just have to think a bit instead of getting in radical-semantic-gramatic mode ;)
