Well, I suppose Occam's Razor applied to math insists that the
simplest proof should be prefered as a proof.
Thus, the below proof
http://planetmath.org/encyclopedia/NthRootOf2IsIrrationalForNge3ProofUsingFermatsLastTheorem.html
should not be prefered as there are elementary ways to
prove that 2^(1/m) is irrational for m\ge 3.
