| Hmmm, hey how about adding a flag in commnets, controlled by the owner of the document, that when set, would hide the comment (and its subtree), that way you avoid the "forever and ever" part. Optionally, there could be a button for users labeled "show hidden comments" to reveal these comments. This, of course isn't meant to replace the "corrections" feature, but rather to be a way around any mistakes that can and will occur.
I would love to help code that but at this time I don't feel confident enough with the code to play around and set it up. I am willing to try, but it would take me much longer than you guys. (and i know such code would be pretty straight forward)
On a similar note, is it just me or do all message windows begin with 10 or so tabs in the beginning of the text box, where is this coming from? Is it designed that way?
