Is it correct to speak of the order of an ring? The groups have own orders, the Galois fields too.

Based off of the posts made to this correction as well as my own feelings, I have decided to keep "order", at least for the time being. We got an interesting string of posts out of all this though. :-)

The user pahio filed a correction regarding my usage of the phrase "order of a ring". I admit that it is most likely nonstandard, but I think it is clear what it means. I would like to know what other people think of this phrase.
