[parent] Viewing Correction to 'regular triangle'
equilateral by pahio

Correction id: 12333
Filed on: 2007-06-06 06:30:36
Status: Rejected on 2007-06-06 06:55:29
Type: Addendum

Correction text:
Isn't its name {\em equilateral}?

Comment from object owner Wkbj79:
I would call it equilateral, but based off of Mathprof's insistence that it is not called equilateral, I cannot accept this correction. The following are links to corrections to "equilateral triangle":

This one in which I asked for "equiangular triangle" to be included as a synonym was rejected:

This one in which I pointed out that "regular triangle" was listed as a synonym (and thus felt that he would have to add "equiangular triangle" as a synonym) was accepted, but the result was that "regular triangle" was removed as a synonym:

To be frank, I hate the fact that we have to have three separate entries for what is the exact same object in most (if not all) geometries in which equilateral/equiangular/regular triangles can be defined.
