Correction text:
1) I really don't understand what you're defining as arg min. It seems to be "a choice of one value x at which f(x) is minimized" but how is that choice made?

2) What is f? A function from where to where? Is min always defined, for any such f and S? What about arg min? "min f is the minimum" doesn't sound very enlightening. You should define what the minimum is explicitly (i.e. an element m such that m\leq x for all x in S); but it's not even clear what the order in question is here, so it would be good that you clarified all this stuff.
