[parent] Viewing Correction to 'lowest upper bound'
Need not be a total order by archibal

Correction id: 3471
Filed on: 2004-02-20 01:45:41
Status: Accepted on 2004-03-20 23:33:06
Type: Addendum

Correction text:
The text ``ordering relation'' is autolinked to the entry of the same name, which (unfortunately) defines it to be a total order. Least upper bounds are a useful concept on partial orders.

Comment from object owner djao:
I changed the text in this item and in "upper bound" to refer to partial orderings instead.
