| I don't know why you want me to add this. As you say, it's a corollary of the Archimedean property of real numbers. It's not a corollary of the law of trichotomy for real numbers. It really has nothing to do with trichotomy, since similar properties can hold in posets which do not obey the law of trichotomy. |
