[parent] Viewing Correction to 'area under Gaussian curve'
notation and related by igor

Correction id: 6645
Filed on: 2005-05-17 19:19:12
Status: Accepted on 2005-05-18 02:17:29
Type: Meta/Minor

Correction text:
I'm not familiar with the \Big/ notation you use in the last line. If you mean the result of definite integral, do you have any references for it? In most calculus texts that I've seen, either a straight or square bar on the right of the expression is used, or a just a pair of square brackets.

Also, you may want to cite the entry MultidimensionalGaussianIntegral as related to yours.

Comment from object owner pahio:
Thanks! The "\Big/" notation is in exclusive use in Finland (see the referred entry "substitution notation"); I recommed it to you, too =o)
