Bio:
Ph.D. in math from MIT in algebraic topology, 1974. I worked as a software engineer and manager from 1976-2007 and am currently an adjunct professor in mathematics at Brandeis University. My interests are primarily algebra and algebraic number theory, elementary topics designed to improve secondary school education and mathematical understanding, and the history of mathematics.
