Bio:
Joe Corneli had a one week reign as top user on PlanetMath in October of 2003
under the handle apmxi.
This was a first-rate disaster.
Since then he has helped produce the PlanetMath print compilation
"The Free Encyclopedia of Mathematics" (currently stalled)
and the first wiki used by PlanetMath,
"AsteroidMeta" (now mostly abandoned).
These not-unambiguously-successful ventures are nevertheless great examples of
learning from experience.
