Smarandache Notions Journal


The Smarandache Notions Journal is a publication devoted to Florentin Smarandache’s ideas about number theory and physics. Originally called the Smarandache Function Journal (as it focused on the Smarandache function), it changed to a more general title with Volume 7 and began to cover other mathematical topics studied by Smarandache. The editorial board of the journal consists mainly of Romanian mathematicians but Smarandache himself is excluded. Contributors to Volume 7 include Henry Ibstedt, Florian Luca, and Y. V. Chebrakov.

Although it is available in hard copy, most libraries don’t carry it. The official home page does not make the journal navigable by issue number. The journal is occasionally cited by Mathworld, mainly in connection to consecutive numbers.
