Charles Louis Fefferman (born April 18, 1949) is a Professor of mathematics at Princeton University. Fefferman was a child prodigy, receiving his PhD at Princeton at the age of 20 with advisor Elias Stein. He become full professor at University of Chicago at age 22 and come back to Princeton soon afterwards. He received the Fields medal in 1978. He is well known for his work in several complex variables.
