A parametric operator $\Omega$ with parameter $\alpha$ in the parametric set $\mathcal{A}$ is an indexed family of operators $(\Omega_{\alpha})_{\mathcal{A}} = \{ \Omega_{\alpha} : \alpha \in \mathcal{A} \}$ with index $\alpha$ in the index set $\mathcal{A}$ .
