Schock Prize (Definition)

The Schock Prize is a prize awarded by the estate of the philosopher Rolf Schock bi-annually in the categories of philosophy, mathematics, visual arts and music. The prize of 400000 Swedish kronor is decided by one of the Swedish Royal Academies, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in the case of mathematics.
