Is there any way to put tickmarks on my axes without having to use a whole bunch of pslines?

Use the command \psaxes[Dx=a,Dy=b]{->} to draw axes with tickmarks. a and b represent the unit scale on each axis. For more detail, see

Thanks Chi. That site was helpful, and I used it for the entry. On the other hand, for PM, you have to have \usepackage{pst-plot} instead of \usepackage{pst-plot.sty} as the site gives.
