Forums:

I came across the following message on MathForge:

http://mathforge.net/index.jsp?page=seeReplies&messageNum=1224

which says that in Wiles' proof of Fermat Therorem it was found an ERROR??? Is it really TRUE? And Fermat is still unproven?

Serg.

Thanks ;))))) You know, I wanted to post a message about this some time ago, but somehow didn't do that. But now recent Fermat posts remembered me about that, so I posted. And just when I did that, an idea came to me that it is not true, simply because if it WOULD be the case, I WOULD DEFENITELY hear about that from number of sources. But the 1st April date I haven't observed ;))))

No, it's an April fool post (see the date).

## Re: Fermat Theorem is unproven AGAIN???

No, the real answer is that FLT is still proven, thanks to the initator of the message thread preceding this one =)
