Would you mind lowering the linking priority of this entry?

incorrectly into yours, and I think the usage of "continuous function" in the context of your topic is much less common than the meaning of "continuous in a topological space".

(I could manually fix my entry, but this would not fix other mis-links of this term that might occur in other entries.)

I don't think that lowering the priority will have any effect. This was discussed in the forums recently. (The documentation is misleading.) Instead, I've used the new "permit" linking directive, like this: permit 03 continuous permit 03 "continuous fun
