Γ-equivariant


Let Γ be a compact Lie group acting linearly on V and let g be a mapping defined as g:VV. Then g is Γ-equivariant if

g(γv)=γg(v)

for all γΓ, and all vV.
Therefore if g commutes with Γ then g is Γ-equivariant.
