A representation^{} $V$ of $\mathrm{\Gamma}$ is $\mathrm{\Gamma}$simple if either

•
$V\cong {W}_{1}\oplus {W}_{2}$ where ${W}_{1}$, ${W}_{2}$ are absolutely irreducible for $\mathrm{\Gamma}$ and are $\mathrm{\Gamma}$isomorphic^{}, or

•
$V$ is nonabsolutely irreducible for $\mathrm{\Gamma}$.
