# Jordan content of an $n$-cell

Let $I=[a_{1},b_{1}]\times\cdots\times[a_{n},b_{n}]$ be an $n$-cell in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$. Then the Jordan content (denoted $\mu(I)$) of $I$ is defined as

 $\mu(I):=\prod_{j=1}^{n}(b_{j}-a_{j}).$
