# simplicial mapping

Let $K$ and $L$ be simplicial complexes^{} and $f:K\to L$.
If for each simplex ${\sigma}^{n}$ of $K$, we have that $f({\sigma}^{n})$ is a simplex
of $L$, then $f$ is said to be a *simplicial mapping*.
