Feit-Thompson theorem


An important result in the classification of all finite simple groups, the Feit-Thompson theoremMathworldPlanetmath states that every non-AbelianMathworldPlanetmathPlanetmath simple groupMathworldPlanetmathPlanetmath must have even order.

The only known proof requires 255 pages.
