simplicial mapping

Let $K$ and $L$ be simplicial complexes and $f:K\to L$. If for each simplex ${\sigma }^n$ of $K$, we have that $f({\sigma }^n)$ is a simplex of $L$, then $f$ is said to be a simplicial mapping.
