# Rolle’s theorem

Rolle’s theorem. If $f$ is a continuous function^{} on $[a,b]$, such that $f(a)=f(b)$ and differentiable^{} on $(a,b)$ then there exists a point $c\in (a,b)$ such that ${f}^{\prime}(c)=0$.
